Make or Break 2013: Sam Bradford
1. Sam Bradford
Coming off a 7-8-1 season in 2012 and drafting West Virginia wide receiver Tavon Austin, the Rams expect a above .500 record next year or at least better stats from the 1st overall pick in the 2010 draft, Sam Bradford. In his rookie year, he completed 354 of 590 (60%) for 3510 yards, 18 touchdowns and 15 interceptions leading the Rams to a 7-9 record who went 1-15 in 2009. He missed 6 games in his sophomore year, completing 191 of 357 (53.5) for 2164 yards 6 touchdowns and 6 interceptions watching the Rams fall to 2-14. The Rams however still had faith in the quarterback and traded the no 2 pick overall in 2012 instead of drafting a quarterback from the quarterback rich class. The Rams had a comeback season in 2012 going 7-9-1. Bradford completed 328 of 551 passes and a career high 3702 yards 21 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Entering his 4th year in the NFL, Bradford has a lot of pressure to excel or else his career could be in jeopardy.
